Product Description
Vane pump is regarded as positive displacement pump, that vanes of which moves back and forth inside slots for moving fluids. Also known as sliding vane pump, the cycloidal cam of the pump supports a slotted rotor, which is located close to the cam wall. Two side plates seals the rotor into the cam. The impeller slots are fitted with vanes. Fluid enters the pump as the rotor starts to rotate.
Either hydraulic pressure, centrifugal force or push rod forces the vanes to the housing walls. All vanes, rotor, cam and side plate are tightly sealed. Fluid is forced to the pumping chamber by the housing and cam forces in the cam. Vanes, cam, side plate and canes create pockets, in which the fluid enters. The fluid is sweeped to opposite side of the crescent by the vanes, as the rotor rotates.
